For our hot water source our Domus group are planning to use solar hot water with the panels located on the roof of the building, and then the tank located seperatly under the building. I was in charge of organising and researching this system, and I thought i'd just share some diagrams that I gathered last year with previous study about solar hot water systems. The diagrams show a solar hot water system aided by a pump, a section through the solar panels and the layout of the pipe system, and the difference in tanks between a gas or electric booster heater.
