Hi everyone, thought i'd post our progress to date. This is the design concept we had been working on during the week for project domus, it is a split level dwelling which comprisses three areas, them being work, sleep and living area. As you can see from the plan above the three areas are set on different angles to capture the view of the bells beach bush setting.
However, when we had our meeting with our tutorer Ron yesterday he felt our concept idea was not yet strong enough and that our design lacked creativity, after sleeping on it I now see where he is coming from. So although we are heading back to the drawing board, there are a couple of aspects we plan to take from the time we have already used up. The team is a fan of the split level areas, as we see it working well on the sloping site, and we also still plan to investigate the seperation of the three main areas. see how we go in the week to come and hopefully we can create a stronger concept to build upon. thanks!
