Progression has been made recently; the top image illustrates some of the thumb nails I had narrowed my design to. The little 3D sketches were experimenting with the different areas and how they interacted, the cylinder is divided into four sections and each holds the different areas; sleeping, cooking, study and bathroom. This is the design I have decided to go with. The lower image shows rough section and plan of the chosen location, and experimental sections of the chosen concept. I had a few issues with the rotating cylinder and how the services could rotate easily. Refinement in the design was made so that the services do not come into the top of the structure like an umbilical cord yet are attached to the bottom plate which is stable and then through the bottom of the core into the cylinder structure.
